On the lawns of Steampacket Gardens, the market happens on the first Sunday of each month. Times shift with the seasons: 9.30 am to 2 pm in autumn and winter, and 9.30 am to 3 pm in spring and summer. It's the sort of regular commitment that requires no membership and only a loose plan.

You'll come across local produce, gourmet treats, art and handcrafted goods from regional makers and growers, plus live music and hot food stalls. It's waterfront territory, so you can sample a pie and then stare at the bay as if you meant to be contemplative.
