For the younger food enthusiasts out there, Geelong is putting on a bit of a culinary expedition called the G-kids' Holiday Tasting Trail. Think of it as a walking tour where the main mission is to get their tastebuds acquainted with some fresh new flavours, hopefully expanding horizons beyond the usual suspects. It is a chance for the smallest foodies to really get stuck into Geelong's more delicious and perhaps surprising offerings.

Beyond just munching, they might even bump into some new pals and pick up a few interesting tidbits about the city while they are at it. Just a heads up though, this is not a drop and run situation; all kids need a responsible adult tagging along for the ride. It is designed for the 7 and overs, so make sure they are big enough to appreciate the sophisticated snack-athon.
