The is scheduled for September 7, 2025. This six-hour aquatic adventure involves paddling a respectable nine kilometres along Geelong's own Barwon River, starting at Gun Dog Lane and concluding at Fyansford Common Boat Launch. Participants are reminded to pack their own tucker for a mid-river refuel, because a hungry paddler is rarely a happy one.

Experienced instructors will be on hand, presumably to keep everyone pointed in the right direction and out of trouble. It is an opportunity for the younger generation to get out on the water, maybe make a new mate or two, and perhaps discover that screens are not the only source of entertainment. Expect a bit of a workout, a change of scenery, and possibly a slightly damp child returning home, full of tales from the river.
