Some issues that are worrying me

Hi Mums,

I have a 2.5-year-old daughter who has some issues that are worrying me. Lately, it seems no matter what activity she is engaged in, she is not comfortable unless she is at home. She is reluctant to leave the house for long periods of time, becoming inconsolable and asking to return home within half an hour of leaving. This is whether we are at a friend's place, with family, at the shops... etc.

I know 2-year-olds are prone to separation anxiety and the way the world has been lately probably isn't helping things. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this before and if they have found any strategies that help? I respect her feelings where I can but I don't want to live my life as a hermit.
